The Wedding Waltz

My daughter was married in a small wedding in Aruba. She managed the whole event except THE WEDDING WALTZ which I wrote.

The song welcomes the guests and the theme is what the father-daughter dance meant to me. Actually I read the song as if it were a poem. Then I said “You never know when poems will take on special meaning.” The band played the song thru it’s speakers and we danced.

My daughter is particular but she absolutely loved both the song and the dance. I originally wanted the band to do it but they couldn’t read music and my friend, Bill Wittert MD supplied the chords and played the piano. Instead, the band graciously played the song thru the speakers.
